Default Tethering Problems and bluetooth

I have never had an issue tethering my storm to my comp and using the internet until recently when I try to connect to the internet through the BB desktop software I receive this message:

Failed to start Mobile Internet
The specified port is not open.
Please check your profile settings and make sure your radio is turned on. This service might also have been turned off by your wireless service provider or your administrator.

What is this error message referring to and how can I fix it.

On a separate issue, I tried to connect to my new laptop through bluetooth and I can't get fully connected. The comp and phone will pair up but I can't transfer anything because the computer says: Bluetooth peripheral doesn't have a driver. What's up with that.

On the connecting to the internet I can't connect with both xp and windows 7. Both of which I had no problems tethering before. I am trying to tether with the USB and not the bluetooth.

Thanks

I don't know. I'd like to know how to tether my iPod Touch to my Storm 2 so I'll have internet access on the pod. But I haven't figured it out yet... I had no idea it could be tethered to a computer, that would be nice to do as well. I could tether my MacBook to Storm and use it at work during the day.

Guess RIM or your carrier put a block on it, probably the case.
