Tech Support confirmed Storm 2

I was on the phone today talking to a tech at verizon to troubleshoot my Storm 1 (losing data connectivity). She confirmed the Storm 2 and said, "I am waiting for the Storm 2 to come out so I can finally get rid of my current storm". I just thought it was interesting if anyone cared. Oh, and she also said if you have 3 issues with in 90 days, Verizon can offer an exchange for a different blackberry.

If this has already been posted, don't come and kill me.

can we stop with all the "a verizon rep" told me. Let's just stop making threads about when is it coming out, i heard a rumour, and just wait for the real deal confirmed by each network provider themselves. It's real annoying looking at a new thread with a confirmed title only to find its bogus.

Just something to chew on. We are all here as enthusiasts or maybe just a fan of one of the blackberry products on the market or coming. Some of us don't even own one but plan on getting one in the near future. The whole point of this specific thread is upcoming and rumored devices. Rumored being the key word there. So this thread technically was made for the sole purpose of people finding any information out and sharing it with the rest of us interested in such information. If your tired of reading about something someone heard or found out then maybe you should look in a completely different thread.

This is the next phase of the storm2 release will start getting crap loads of my vzw store said my vzw tech said my vzw techs dog said it will go in and on. Maybe we need a sub forum for rumors.

I honestly think that this thread is VERY legit. I honestly want to compliment the OP on the poll. Its quick, get to the point. Simple. Only the over-logical would'nt be able to comprehend the simplicity of your poll. I commend you for not making me read alot, but getting your point across.

I say as much Odin crap as we can get in here sht. Isnt that what this is all about????? Thats half the fun of getting a new device. Speculating the heck out of it and watching leaked videos, and...my mind just went blank Its too early.

Yea, this is called a multi-FRU (Field Replacement Unit) and they are getting stingier and stingier because of the abuse. And, for the record, they will exchange it out for any type of phone, not just BB for one of equal or lesser value (more if you wanna pay the difference).

For the storm 2 upon it's arrival, I will happily pay the different. For those who attempted to kill me in this blog, it just proves that you can't read. Thank you to those who support my blog. BTW, I never said that they made a promise but just a confirmation of what they "really" know. I'm happy to finally be one of the people who got the privilege of getting some good info from someone on the "inside".

Wow... this is good info xD for real xD i think rim is really pushing the odin alot... 3 things in 90 days and you get another bb??? that is MAD xD lol really good, so at least now i am shure that rim made themselves think for this phone... it is not the first one... actually in all of them they did a awsome job...

But they are trying to get touch screen customers lost from the storm by using that stragady.. Great xD the storm is great by the way
