Storm2 With Only Hotspot Browser Fix

First I have read Many Post On this site and Another and tried many things and nothing.
Not one has had anoyone saying something worked for a unlocked 9550 on Att Network!

I just got a New out the box 9550 and had my Brother call Verizon and unlock it since he has Verizon.

Verizon 9550
Blackberry Internet Plan from At&t
At&t SIM Card
OS v5.0.0.713,
Platform v4.2.0.323
TCP/IP
APN:wap.cingular
APN User Name: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
APN Password:cingular1

Everything worked for about two weeks, Emails, Web Browser with no Wifi and with Wifi, Upper Case EDGE.
But now I seem to have lost my ablility to use the browers without Wifi !!!!!!!
I STILL have my browser just doesnot have anyother option other that HOTSPOT BROWSER!!!!!!

-I removed the battery many times.
-I sent my Service Books from bis.na.blackberry and received confirmation on the site and on the phone.
-I did a Wipe of the phone
-I downgraded the OS
-I upgraded the phone

I need HELP Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need the At&t service books not the verizon ones.

Where do you get that I have Verizon Service Books?

I said above that I Sent My Service Books and got the confirmation on the Web and phone.
What do you need a screen shot of to show it?

Please I need to know how to get this to work like it was. For now I put Opera Mini. But I still want to fix this issue.

This has been happening to many of us. All you have to do is go into service books and enable legacy mode then upload your service book backup or the AT&T file.

Open the service books under the options, advance options then, use landscape mode with full keyboard and type 4?2? (it will confirm legacy enabled)

Then restore the AT&T service book using desktop manager and DO NOT restart the phone. Any restarting will delete the wifi browser and mms service book and you'll have to restore again.

so AT&T bb requires APN setup to use BB services? to get GRPS/EDGE/3G BB?

So fun I just sold it. Loved the phone but didnt want to deal with not having a browser unless I was on Wifi.
And Opera SUCKED.....as a alt.

Getting the BB Torch from At&t Thur. 12th.

I HATED Opera at first, but kept using it only because I was tired of waiting for the BB browser to load pages, which was like watching paint dry. Long story short, I'm really used to it now and really do prefer it to the default BB browser. Definitely worth a shot to give Opera a try if it actually does work in a scenario like the OP's.

omg thank you soo much for that suggestion i bought my storm on ebay friday and i was soo pissed that i could recieve email get on the web without wifi or recieve pics now with your help i can now thank you are soo awesome and a godsend thanx a millions you saved me so much time i spent a whole night friday trying to do this and ran across your post and its all set thank you thank you thank you a million
