If you wait a year after your last upgrade, you can get a new phone at a discounted rate. If memory serves, it's $100 off whatever the retail price of the phone is. I don't know what the S2 will retail for, but my guess would be $600-$800, so you could get it for $500-$700.
If you wait two years after your latest upgrade, you can get the S2 for what new customers would (or so they claim). At one point, when I upgraded (out of necessity) when my contract was almost up (3 days remaining) I got ripped on the 1 year discount price and ended up having to jump through so many hoops to get a credit, it wasn't worth it by the end of it all. Keep in mind, you only get discounts if you sign a new contract. Isn't that nice of them? I pay $145/month for very little usage and these people think that I should pay retail for a new phone. They should automatically send me the newest blackberry every friggin month!
