Nope. Most people are having trouble at times with the bottom four buttons at times. Especially when on a flat surface. I hope that it is a software issue and that it can be fixed.

i totally agree with you there i always wanted them to remove those four buttons and just had keep one berry button like i(hate)phone. that would have been really kool.

yep got the same prob except alot worse. about 5-10 secs into a phone call the thing shuts down completly and wont turn back on without a battery pull. if its sitting idol it will sometimes do the same thing.
basically i have to take the battery out and do a full re-boot about every 20 mins.
on top of that it dousnt seem to matter how long i charge it for the battery seems to drain within about an hour of taking the charger of. taking it bk tomoz to see wat they say. sorry i dont have an answer just thought id let u know that ur not the only one with the problem.

so does anyone have any sugestions on wat to do about the phone turning itself off all the time. any advice will do even if its something like "take it bk" cheers.

Almost every day I now experience an issue where I look at the phone and Ive missed several calls and several texts have been waiting and the phone never rang or alerted for the texts. If I check my audio settings they have not changed but when I click "try it" I get an error stating my ringtone is invalid. The only thing Ive found to restore sounds is a battery pull reboot, and thats not always easy with the body glove cover installed.

Hi guys..why does my Storm 2 shows "Activation Required" instead of my operator logo? BIS is activated & everything os working fine..except for the mentioned issue! O yea, Im currently using it in Asia, not under Verizon..could this be the issue?

Anyone else having problems with vibrate. In holster not able to feel vibrate at all. VZW states" that this is normal for phones, and to wear it in pants pocket".

Sometimes when hanging up from a call when I push the end button it will make this loud beeping noise and it will not let me dial out unless I do a battery pull or if someone else calls. When trying to dial it will say "call in progress cannot connect." Even if I turn the phone off and back on it says the same thing. Any advice? Thanks.

I just got my S2 on Thursday coming from a Curve 8330. On my curve I had the browser set to column view because it is easier to view CB. I have gone in to my browser general options on my S2 and set the default to column view. Has anyone experienced that even with it set to that, it will still show as page view when you refresh or go to another page and have to hit the bb button and select column view again and for everytime you go to a new page. I'm wondering if this is one of the gliches with the S2. My S2 was made in Hungary also if that helps. TIA.
*edit-since this post, my S2 finally accepted the changes and my browser page displays in column view no problem.

Same issue, I've reported. I'm told it is a "known" issue and RIM is working on it. Looks like they have alot to work on! It is my "only" problem however.

I really like the S2

Does anyone know how long it may take RIM to create a fix for several of the issues listed? Better yet, why didn't they discover them prior to release?

I just picked up my Storm 2 last week and i have two problems already. The first issue is that my phone keep turning off and resetting when i place it down on the table, it seems that on the back of the phone where the battery door is...is a bit loose? This has happened way to many times and is been fustrating, wondering if anyone else has had this issue? The other problem I am now starting to see is while texting, the buttons seem to be locking up and just wont give when pressing down(tends to happen a lot on the space bar and the bottom of the screen for the most part) again, wondering if anyone else has this issue too? thanks.

I was thinking it was just my unit. Good RIM knows about it though. The update to fix this issue should be out in about 13 months. :/

I have a tour and got a storm 2 on friday...what makes the storm annoying is the touch screen gets stuck sometimes and its really annoying...i switched back to my tour because its very annoying...touch screen phones cant compare to what the iphone is...
