It's not that I'm unhappy, I'm extremely happy with the Storm 2. I just can't figure the WiFi out. Haha

Only problem I have had with mine is Blackberry maps. When i open the program it gives me the following "your current default services do not provide access to map data". So I called verizon tech support and after almost 2 hours of troubleshooting he told me to take it back and get another one. Took it back and had no problems swapping but before i left the store i tried to open it and guess what... THE SAME THING. The tech support person in the store couldn't figure it out and finally said it is a software glitch. Anybody else?????

I understand, but after checking the forums for the past few hours, people are not that impressed. I have a feeling this place is going to get nasty again...

Default Auto dim in landscape mode

Storm 2 is much improved but noticed a small software issue when you have the auto dim turned off in options / screen / keyboard and go to landscape mode using any program it starts to dim in about 10-15 seconds. This issue doesn't exist in portrait mode.

I think that's it Good now I like this phone a little more lol.
Also I went back into "Show Text Input Options" and went to Input Style, then changed "Word Completion" to "Auto Correction". I think that helps a little bit as well.

To everyone trying to disable the auto correction or word complete. turn the phone sideways go to options > language and text input > show text input options and uncheck AUTO CORRECTION.

if you have the phone straight up or in portrait mode YOU WILL NOT GET THE AUTO CORRECTION OPTION!

Ugh OK now 2 more things:

1. When I try and access WiFi through my router, I'm supposed to enter a PIN somewhere. Um, where?

2. I'm attempting to set up my e-mail through the e-mail set up. When I enter my login name and pass, it says "blank user name."

I think these are the last 2 issues I'm having.

So, I can't use wifi for BBM or push email? Mine is grayed out even when it says it's connected to my home network. I did try to jump on the browser and it worked, but it was slow and my internet is not slow.

I don't know about anyone else, but I have to press really hard to click the screen and it's slowing me down a lot, is there any way to adjust the pressure of the click, or is this something that they fix or change in another OS???

You have to enter that PIN on the IP address you went to set up your router. I couldn't get it to work though, so I manually did it with my SSID and my PSK password.

Default Keep the STORM 1 with OS 5.0.0.328

Works well on the STORM 1 and the S1 doesn't feel like a dummy phone (plastic) like the new STORM 2. I loaded the Verizon released OS 5.0 yesterday and it's working well. Lets hope it stays that way!!
