I can't device switch from my old Pearl 8120, but I think that's a restriction on Desktop Manager that my employer has imposed. Expect contacts to synch OTA when they do the enterprise activation.

Default Battery life again.....
I gave it a full charge and I am down to 35% battery life after only four hours off the charger. I have had major issues with the signal as well. If I have someone sitting beside me with a VZW blackberry other than the storm two they have full signal and mine is in and out. I called tech support and they advised that it sounds like a phone issue so I am taking it back now.

Options - Language and Text Input - Input Style = Autocorrection


Then Hit "Show Text Input Options" and disable it
Try that.

Ok just returning from the vz store without a storm2. The rep brought me a total of 3 phones 1 after the other. All of them had the same problem. One corner of the screen didn't click. With the second one when I pointed out the rep got upset and I said try clicking the call button and he couldn't. So he said it may be the batch so I will show you one more if not I cannot help you today. He said I have to try on friday as they might get new shipment.

Hey bighern I think I found it. Go to Options > Language and Text Input > Show Text Input Options > Uncheck "Predictive"

I think that's it Good now I like this phone a little more lol.

and as i choke in a cloud of dust...its just me an my storm1 watching as the "cool" people leave me behind... congrats guys.. i'll be checkin in to see how 2 comes along..i cant wait..till June 2010...(more weeping)

I'm getting the same problems as Rush The Bus, WiFi seems to not like to work on my Storm 2. Sadly, I'm at work and cannot call tech so I'm going to have to wait. My email isn't pushing to my phone either, although I've resent service books. Don't know whats wrong.

Also with the WiFi, it will not connect with the scan for networks and add the PIN to the router. I have to manually add the network with the SSID and PSK code.

Default Not what I hoped for
upgraded today from tour to S2 at 9:30 AM. By 3:30Pm I was back in my tour. The screen on the S2 is marginaly better than theS1 if you dont need wifi stay with the S1 with OS 5.0. Not bashing just not what I hoped for.

The phone was ON. Its like the issue that Sal posted to look out for. I am going to go another store and try some devices. Good luck peeps.
