Still Storm 2 replacements?

My Storm 2 (9550) is starting to break down after about a year. Random horizontal lines pop up on my screen and sometimes some of the lines of the keyboard blank out or move around. My screen also does that really weird multi-click thing sometimes when i hit the end button. All in all, i'd like to trade up if possible.

My question is, is verizon still providing Storm 2 handsets to customers that have the warranty, or has it been EOL'd? If i tell them i want a replacement, is there a chance I could get a different phone because they don't have any left, or is that just wishful thinking? Anyone have any thoughts?

just got mine replaced last week. They still have them!

WELL the VZW site says temporarily out of stock on the Storm 2... keep your fingers crossed.

just got off the phone with cs. my replacement is defective. they are sending out another one monday. the replacement has a 90 day warrenty. they will have to have replacements for a few at least a few months more.
