Default Sorry can not wait any more...

I almost had a nervous breakdown waiting for this damn phone (Storm 2). Now I settled for AT&T/iPhone. I might just pay a termination fee when Storm 3 or iPhone G4 emerges.

Yes got 3GS. I am in NYC so coverage is pretty good. Just bad that I can not unlock it when I am abroad... I'd want to use it in Asia too.

Iphone's old news. If you're going to jump ship, might as well go with android.

On the bright side, you've got the phone with an AWESOME browser. On the downside, you might not get a signal in many places to make that browser worth using... I did some checking the other night on AT&T's 3G coverage map. The 3G coverage is the DARK BLUE areas, not to be confused with their more generous various shades of blue map that includes EDGE. Verizon's "there's a map for that" ad is pretty clever, if you ask me. And it's not BS, either. Verizon's coverage is awesome. I've been using a Mifi up and down california and it works everywhere I've been with the sole exception of around the observatory in Griffith park, LA. Traveling in 8 states, I've had voice, data/navigation coverage everywhere but north of Redding, CA for a couple of hours on interstate 5. I've had other carriers that I couldn't even get a signal in malls or stores. Large buildings blocked the signals. It's hard to beat Verizon at the network game.

Did not find Droid particularly attractive looking though. Plus not sure if it would work with corporate email.

Agreed. I left Verizon awhile back because of the iPhone. The phone is awesome, the network sucks. Which is why I came crawling back.

I've already lived the pain of having a lousy carrier...for about 3 years, IIRC. I will never subject myself to that indignity again. LOL! Seriously, with the cost of service being what it is these days, when I whip out my phone I want it to work every time, and every where. With my current phone and service, I LITERALLY never miss or lose a call and have service where ever I go. That is so liberating! I used to have a Star Tac and Kyocera which missed calls when I was at home. Drove me nuts. Finally got an LG and have had it for over 3 years ( I am SO past my Every-2 LOL) and it never has failed to ring when I'm at home and someone calls. My next phone had better be as reliable (reception) as my LG or I'll trade it in immediately.

I'm in the same boat, I've been in need of a new smart phone for nearly a month, I tried to wait for the s2, but with no info and no release date in site I opted for the iphone 3gs, it has some advantages, but there will always be a special place in my heart for BB, and I will definitely miss the network, but I really want and prefer a touch screen, maybe after Christmas if the S2 is out I will take another look
