Default SO who is ready to jump to 9850/9860???

I would guess most storm owners are touchscreen fans (i am), and with the news that most carriers are releasing the 9850/60 this month or early next month, i was curious who out there has been eagerly waiting? And also who is like me and has been off contract for a while but waiting to use the discount on the new touchscreen?

Not eligible till Feb 12.
Depending on when VZ get the phone, I may decide to go for it before then.
I currently have a Storm2 (9550) and love the phone be have grown to find the click screen a chore to type on.
Good Luck

I like a touchable screen, and while my 9550 has gotten the job done up to now it's starting to wear on my nerves. The 9850/60 would be a great replacement but I miss my keyboard - my sights are on a 9930.

My wife and myself each have a storm and have been eligible to upgrade since last october. If verizon does not offer the 9850/60 it will be good bye big red and hello AT&T.

It looks to be a like a huge upgrade from the storm 2 having a regular touch screen phone and not a surepress. I'm eager to try this out

Holding off if only until they have another B1G1 deal at Verizon (which is how I got Storm2). That being said, I'm looking forward to something different.

I would LOVE this phone but will only upgrade to it if they are going to be available through Verizon. I love Verizon. Been with them for about 10 years and REFUSE to even talk to AT&T. So I have my crossables crossed that they will be carrying this device!!!

I suppose I'd look at it now that SurePress is no longer crippling RIM's touch devices (assuming they can figure out how to put together an OS that isn't complete garbage).

I've got two Storm 9530's still running on my plan with Verizon. I've been waiting for the new touchscreen device to come out so I'll be jumping on the 9850 if Verizon carries it.

If Verizon decides not to carry I will likely go with another carrier.
