Default Should I Upgrade OS from 713?
I am giving my Storm 2 to my wife and have completed a security wipe. My carrier Telus is using OS 5.713. Telus is notorious for not providing upgrades.

My question, should I upgrade to a more current OS version?
If so, which one?

No, I think you lose OpenGL and I seem to recall the gains were negligible

Not if you want openGL. I have a .713 hybrid and I've been very satisfied with it.

If you update to .1015 you will also loose the ability to display the clock in bedside mode.

Most Storm2 OS's don't fix issues, they create more issues. Upgrade your wife to a better device.
