quick question
I don't have a bill in front of me but I was wondering with the unlimited data plan with Verizon do I also get unlimited text or am I paying extra for that? I know the unlimited data is thirty bucks but is unlimited text extra money too? Thanks in advance.

I'm with Telus in Canada so I can't say for sure, but as far as I know SMS/MMS is different than data.
I have to pay for unlimited data AND unlimited texting... So yeah, I believe you're charged separately for each service.

on verizon, texting is $5 for 250 messages and unlimited cost more. it's separate from data charges.

Yes, testing is different and costs more. Data does include BBM which is fun bit only allows you to chat with other BB users. I did hear that things like AIM and Yahoo I'm count as texts but I don't know how true that is. HTH!

AIM and Yahoo come under data. Text is SMS only I believe.
