Default Problems connect to data services on Storm 2 (Verizon)

Hey all. My first post here on Crackberry. Blackberry experts in my opinion. Anyway, I came here because I am experiencing a problem and have been unable to find a solution online. The girl I'm currently dating is having trouble connecting to data services and internet using a Blackberry Storm 2 on Verizon's roaming network. Now she is not on a Extended Network. But here's the problem. Recently she dropped her 9650 into water, filed an insurance claim (9650 was on backorder for like a week, so picked up a Storm 2 instead) and got a new phone. But before she was on Verizon's extended network and could get on the internet, get emails, and etc. Does anyone know of a solution to this problem?

Btw, it was in the same exact area as before.

Thank you all.

Try the settings under options-advanced-tcp and set to Verizon req'd APN settings. Had a similar issue with my S2 here on Rogers with the no data connection.

Unfortunately that did not solve the problem. Thanks for your input though!

Have you registered the handset with the network? If you have Verizon service you should be able to connect with their CDMA network.
