Password Lock help

Okay, so my dad got the storm 2 yesterday and he needs to keep it locked, for work purposes and such, but the one problem we're having is that the phone goes to the lock screen too fast after being unattended. I'm pretty sure there is a way to change the time but any time I used tutorials or anything, they didnt work or the option just simply wasnt there. Any ideas?

Same place you go to enable the password...

Options> Password> Security Timeout
