Default ok i'm amateur but i have a question

i'm livin' in turkey..if i buy storm 2 from verizon wireless will it work there??cuz i can't wait for release in Turkey what should i do??

The phone would certainly need to be unlocked, but I think you would need to get the 9520 not 9550 in order for it to work for you, could be wrong completely as well though

Why wouldn't you just buy a 9520 from Vodafone? It would be much better for you than a 9550.

it's not releasing at Turkey in 2009 and i can't wait

The 9520 is already available from Vodafone in the UK for pre-order on their site.

Ok sorry, I didn't realize that you couldn't purchase it at full retail.

The 9550 is a world phone and will work anywhere in the world so it should work fine for you. Like drm2blv said, you would have to get the GSM part unlocked to get it working on Vodafone. The only problem you may have is with specific Vodafone software. Since Vodafone will be releasing the 9520 and not the 9550 some of the software may not work on the 9550 and you won't be able to use the official software updates from Vodafone either. Other than that you should be fine.

it wont be so bad not having the official updates. look how many people use leaked OS versions now.
