Default no 3g on unlocked 9550
I have an unlocked storm 2 9550 originally from Telus, I use Rogers. The phone is only working in Edge and not in 3g. Is there a way to get this phone to work in 3g?

No, the 3G frequencies for GSM networks that the 9550 have are incompatible in North America. You won't get 3G on a GSM (Rogers) network at all, there's no work around or hack to do so.

Only bell and telus HSPA+ devices will get 3G on Rogers

i have the same problem but my for my torch, its originally a telus phone but when i unlocked it so it can work for fido, sorry if its in the wrong category
