newbie needs help with storm

hi ya guys n gals new guy here just a quick question i bought a storm 2 9550 excellent phone but the problem is its the usa verision one so has usa settings even thou i can use it im using a o2 sim and works i was wondering can i change the os from usa to a uk one thanks guys for any help

Google the RIM download site or you can find a link here on crackberry.From there you can load the newest os from your particular carrier in the UK and you should be in business from there.You'll have to read a few how to's and get familiar with your Storm first .Everything you need to know is right here,welcome to crackberry. Friend .

No you cannot load the UK version as that would be for the 9520, and they use a different OS than the 9550's do.

Vodafone UK shows up as an OS he could choose from ?If not,my bad for trying to help the Bloke out.I would load .1082 anyway if I were you tony,as it is the newest Os available for 9550.I have it running on mine and it is great.Like I said before though, you'll want to read up first because you have to delete vendor file etc...and get familiar with the whole process.
