my storm wont charge!

my storm 2 died yesterday while i was out and i came home to plug it in and now it wont charge
the lighting bolt shows up over the batter like it says its charging but its been plugged into the wall for at least 16 hours now and the battery is still completely empty and the lighting bolt has been on this entire time.
help?

try rebooting, could be a software problem
hope it's not the battery...
