Default It's time to say goodbye to my trusty Storm2

Well after two years with my trusty Storm 2 it's time to say goodbye.....(play Sarah Brightman) ..We have travelled the world together and I have never been let down but I have the 'two year itch' and plan to get my hands on the 9930 this weekend.

The good news is, in my case, 'Once you go Black.....Berry, you never go back'.

I'll see some of you over at the Bold 9900 forum. Thanks for all the knowledge I got from this forum.

T

PS. I think my Storm 2 knows somethings up as she locked up on me big time yesterday for the first time in two years. Battery pull didn't work, had to connect to desktop manger to get passed my password screen hang.

Let it go. I did the same about ten days ago for a 9930. My 9550 was a terrific phone and like yours came with me around the world and never failed. I thought I would miss it when it was time to get another. And I did . . . . for about ten minutes. The 9930 is fantastic and everything everyone is saying it is.

How is it going from storm2 to 9930? I am also a s2 guy and Lord knows, we had a good run but it's time to put her to rest. I have my sites on the torch 9850 but am not completely ruling out the 9930. I just don't know if I can go back to the smaller screen...how was the transition?

next week my carrier is finally selling the new touchscreen- what should have been the storm 3 but those unoriginal goins called it a torch 9850....

Anyway, i will be retiring my 9550. It was a good friend and last a while... but he is just "too five years ago" if u get my drift. The new touchscreen has over twice the processor and like 20% more screen realestate.... its awesome.

And it too will be retired when the qnx phones come out.

In 2016.

My 2nd pick was the 9850 but decided that as I have the playbook I get the big screen anyway. I believe one or two app developers are working on enabling the Bold keyboard to act as an input device to the playbook which will give me the best of both worlds.
