How to unlock a storm 2

I can't believe I stumbled upon this. But when you go into the options --> advanced options --> sim card screen, then do the "show keyboard" thing, for it to work, MEPD, MEP2, you have to be in LANDSCAPE MODE. It DOES NOT work in portrait mode.

Stupid little things, eh?

I just tried it in both landscape and portrait mode and was able to get it to ask for for the 10 digit code both ways.

You need to input the mep2 code...

OK, so i figured out, you can't do suretype on portrait mode, or landscape mode.

And to sbudaj... get an unlock code from a paid source or... best of luck, your carrier.
