how do u send a picture message on blackberry storm 2

i recently went and bought a blackberry storm 2. i upgraded from a lg. my problem now is i have no idea on how to send a picture message. i tried clicking onto the picture then going to send or share but the only opitions that come up are email and messanger contact. i wanna text the picture like a sms. help please. im also with verizon.

That menu should also give you the option to send as an MMS. MMS is a media or picture message, while SMS is a text message. If you still don't see the MMS option in that menu you can go to your Messages folder and click your BlackBerry button. Scroll to 'Compose MMS', type your recipient's name and choose your picture. Hope that helps.

might also go to your mms settings located in options and see if the first two drop down boxes are set to always.... and how long have you had this device active? may be that the service books have not quite been fully downloaded if you did it within the last few min
