How can I tell which replacement screen I need?

Hi guys,

Quick question - I need to replace my cracked screen (Storm 9520) and I know there a different versions on the market.

How can I tell which part number/version I need without taking the phone apart? Or.....is it gonna have to be opened up?

Well if your replacing the screen, you'll be opening it up anyway. The 9520 is the model given to the Vodafone service and the Verizon is the 9550. There is only one screen for replacement on the market for the storm 2. There are 2 screens for the original storm that are not cross compatible making you have to open your screen up and check. So essentially you only need to buy the 9550 replacement LCD + Touch Screen Digitizer.
