    First try a battery pull.

If that doesn't solve it, try looking for and removing the service book located under options, advanced options, service books to see if there is a remnant service book correlating to the hotmail account.

Let us know if this helps!

Mine's always been like this with hotmail..it's never synced both ways, just one way. If I delete off handheld and mailbox, it moves it to my trash, but if I delete it in my hotmail inbox it stays on my device. Storm 1 and Storm2.

Hotmail will be getting another upgrade later this year to support Exchange ActiveSync. When then upgrade occurs, Hotmail will be accessible via an Exchange server, giving you full 2-way sync just like any Exchange account. Microsoft is offering this as a free service, but note that some wireless carriers charge additional money for BB Exchange support.
