I'm on the $50 blackberry plan for simple mobile.

- internet works
- app world works
- mms/sms work
- apps like facebook and twitter work (fb intergrated with bbm, so I assume bbm works)

When I try to set up the email it tells me I'm not registered on the network although I have a whole bunch of "registered" messages. I called simple mobile and they said it shows my imei is on their network... but they don't have tech info for my phone.

I know there has to be a way to get the email to work. I changed the APN to simple, and it seems like everything else is the way it's suppose to be? Simple Mobile is suppose to send the service books down automatically... and the simple browser is there and working.

My phone was unlocked from someone else on verizon. Is it possible there's service books that need to be deleted?

Nevermind.. for now anyway.

I downloaded logic mail and am using it instead and it works fine with my gmx.com email. Still not sure why the email setup won't let me use it though. Still keeps saying I'm not registered, though everything works, including pin msgs. :\

everything works on my phone but email i talked to the rep he said its not supposed to work but bbm mms internet phone EDGE blackberry protect and every app i have works but email app says not registered i want to know whats wrong i have a storm2 fully unlocked

You have to have a BB BIS account to get email on a BB.
