Have 3 Storm 2s w/ Broken Screens ..Worth Fixing?

Well, we are now up to three Storm 2s with broken screens. We replaced the entire phone for the first two accidents (one w/ iphone and the other with another Storm 2 - at my expense, of course). Now we've managed to break our 3rd (the replacement phone).

Since these phones have some age on them, I'm wondering if they are worth the $ and headache to replace the screens. At least two of them still respond but the screens are so badly broken that you can't see what you're doing. I actually made a couple of calls with mine the day I broke it.

I only want to replace them so that we have backup phones in the event of loss or damage. This is definitely not our preferred phone but with three sons, having replacements is important!

I've read through a lot of the posts and I see that there is a video that explains some of the process of replacing the screen. My primary questions are:

*Are the phones even worth fixing at their age?
*Where is the best place to find replacement parts?
*How do I know if I need just the screen or the screen and the digitizer? - I'm not even exactly sure how this works.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

i replaced mine for about $60. parts + labor fee included. if your unsure how to replace it yourself. i suggest you bring it to someone who knows. or just dont use it anymore.

Hi dead easy to replace. I did mine in 20 mins. Got an original lcd & digitizer screen off ebay for £30 loads of how to,s on YouTube. My s2 works loads better now too

On topic: totally repair it. Buy 1 kit to do by yourself and if it goes well, buy another to fix your other phone

repair them!!!
I just repaired mine and it was super easy I found the screen plus tools on ebay for 26 bucks.

Also Storms 2 are still selling for about 90-100 bucks so if you invest you can potentially double your investment.
