FYI: I discovered a Sync problem and fix for Calender Appointments
Greetings:
I discovered a Sync problem with Outlook and how to solve it. If you have more than one email address programed in your BB (I have 3) it seems that when Outlook Sync's with the BB calender, the BB assigns one of those email addresses to the appointments (if you open the appointment you will see that at the top of the open window) and if those assigned addresses differ between Outlook an the BB they will not transfer back and forth properly or at all--if that makes any sense (I don't know why that is, but I would love to understand it). To fix this I went into Options>Advanced>Service Book and deleted all my email addresses listed with the "[CICAL]" extensions that I didn't want associated with my appointments and that seemed to fix it. All my appointments Synced back-and-forth properly and they all showed up in the BB and Outlook. If anyone knows why this happens I would love to understand it. Anyway, there it is.Last edited by The Legend; 09-15-2010 at 01:48 PM.

its not a problem per say. You can have multiple calenders on your device (home, work, facebook) and you might not want to sync them all to outlook. You might only want those items assciated with HOME to sync to outlook and that allows you to keep them seperate on the device but still display them. So make sure you add an appointment on the device it is to the correct calender.

Oh! makes sense--thanks. However--in reverse, when I enter appointments into Outlook and Sync, the BB seems to automatically assign an email address (not necessarily the one I want) to the incoming appointments being Synced. It would seem there is a setting in Outlook to control this, but I couldn't find it.

Thanks Bad Boy, I figured that but my BB was assigning a different address for the incoming. It assigns the default for all the ones I enter directly to the BB. That's why I think it might be some weird setting in Outlook that I'm unaware of or I might have a glitch.
