I think you need a USB data cable to tether for internet connection on that Blackberry.
Only OS7 has Mobile Hotspot. - 06-25-2012, 04:36 AM

You have me thinking now. When I had my Torch 9800 the only way I knew was to use a USB. The Torch is newer than the storm aswell I assume.
Plus with BB to playbook bridge it has to be above OS5 or it doesn't work. (And with this we can use our BB's internet / data via bluetooth).
I'll wait and see if someone else can confirm bluetooth tethering on your storm. - 06-25-2012, 06:14 AM #5
You need to install Blackberry Desktop Manager and enable connections via Bluetooth in Desktop manager.
Once you have your phone connected via Bluetooth to Desktop Manager you should be able to just hit the Connect Online button in the bottom left of desktop manager and it should provide default profiles for most carriers. - 07-16-2012, 05:37 AM

It should present you with a list of providers and this will pre-populate the settings.
If not you will need to contact T-Mobile for these settings. - 07-16-2012, 01:07 PM
