After I installed BB weather, I get an icon in the download file. I see some users have the icon near the time on the main screen.

Can someone help me do the same.

you need a theme that has a slot for a weather icon. you can find some good free ones

Just go to the download folder, search for the icon, hit the blackberry meny key. Now, selelct move to folder, home. Seach for the icon at the bottom of the main app icon screen and move (bberry key-move) to the top of the screen.

exactly. but if you want it near the clock you will need a theme

Thanks for the response. I found some free themes. how do i get it on my BB. I downloaded and extracted a file which has a folder labeled "alx" and another one labeled "jad"

you will need to load it with desktop manager. see if there is a ota link
