Battery overheating

Hello everyone,

My battery has been overheating really badly lately. Sometimes it gets to over 100 degrees and then crashes. I checked to make sure all background apps were closed, tried uninstalling some apps, reset the battery a bunch of times, but I still can't figure out what the problem is! My battery is 2 years old, would it help if I changed it out for a new one, or is it a problem with the phone and not the battery? Would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out on this, thanks.

hi guys. this is the first time i've posted inside this forum.

i'm also having a bit of an issue with the battery of my storm 2 9520. The battery heats up as i set the mobile network data services to on. After that, it becomes hot... i dunno what the temperature was, but i can tell you it's hot and it IS noticable.

i hope we can find a solution for this.

Irealise there are benefits to synthetic foam and coverings, but I really believe they are not ideal on many levels. A recent reiki session I received used a massage table with plasticy covering and a layer of paper mctsroll, very grim and surely not conducive to the general flow of energy.70-646 I avoid synthetic clothes, my children have wooden and enamel plates...if I ever get to the point 70-640of working professionally (in reiki so no pummelling etc!) Id feel very hypocritical asking a client to lie on so much petroleum based product.,, mcse ,
