annoying call forwarding icon ><

Well i've tried abut everything from changing themes to dialing numbers to get it off but that just says 'supplementary service error: call barred but before that it comes up please wait and i don't know how to the icon off from the middle of my screen i've battery pulled i've went into set up and put don't foraward but it doesn't save the settings when i press save and i've wiped everything and loaded the phone back up and it's still there help please
