activation code for email

newbee to bb!pls help.my husband purhased it from hungary(storm2 9520).im from philippines.in my upper right side of the phone,GSM only.i cant set up my email.what do i need to do?does it mean i cant set up my email?how about bbm?my carrier is vodafone.where can i obtain my activation code and how.

Activation code? I do not think you need an activation code. At the moment you can make phone calls from your phone ? If you can then the phone is unlocked and you would need to get BIS services (Data/internet) enabled on the device, once that is done then you can go into the email setup and set your email on the phone.
