9550 Microphone/mouthpiece issue

I have a 9550. When I make a call using the handset the other party can barely hear me.
If I use the speakerphone option or a headset I can be heard perfectly.

Isn't it the same microphone for speakerphone and handset?

Any ideas as to what the problem is?

Sounds a bit odd. However apparently the speakers/mic in the phones are not very good. Mine sounds like a walkie talkie so I've just ordered a replcement for both the speaker and mic. Only about $3 each on eBay. You might try replacing the speaker and mic too. Cheers

I also have these trouble, nobody can fix it.. I'd try many time to fix by software, and the mic problem was not because of the hardware, i tried to voice record its good, call by speakerphone good, call by hands free also good, but if I call by the handy it self, the opposite person didn't hear my voice. I also tried to change the speaker and the result also NADA. I didn't want to change the Mic because its built on the motherboard it self... And the reason I don't want to change was because it still can record my voice.

I've change the firmware from the original untill the latest OS also nothing can fix it.. I think this is the poor thing for STORM 2. After i asked to other site or forum, they also got the same problem as well and they couldn't fix it..

So, can somebody here, tell us whtat to do to the Storm 2 that have some problem like us??
Please help....
