Has anyone used a Storm 2 (9550) in Kenya? A family member is going this summer for 3 weeks. I want them to take my Storm 2 so we can BBM. Will it work on Safaricom?

The 9550 won't work with Safaricom unless its a Vodafone. The Verizon storm 2s dnt work here.. They will work with an orange Kenya line but bbm? No chance. So simply put you might have a problem. But if the storm 3 is unlocked then it will work!
