I'm on a flashed storm using crickets network and you tube works fine for me.

Perhaps it is just telus (Canadian network) They said youtube changed how it works, so our phones can't play utube videos anymore and nothing they can do. I guess its a lie disabling utube for us saving them data.

weird now when I click a video it says can't play video while alerts are active. I have no clue what that means considering I have no alerts on.

@blackmarket, that must be something with your carrier, I have Verizon and my YouTube button is working fine.
