Is there a way to do a complete wipe and start new but keep all the contacts?
My phones mem is leaking down dramatically and I want to start anew!

Do a backup. Another option is to sync your contacts with Outlook or Gmail and then do your wipe. Once up and running again, then resync and retrieve your contacts.

I don't use outlook or gmail....how else can I back up......would the vzw backup assistant work

What I do is save interesting articles or processess as favorites so I can easily find them in the future. It saves trying to search on Crackberry, which can sometimes be difficult.
