Last time I checked they did consider holidays as off peak. Has something changed?

The big three, VZW, AT&T and Sprint do not recognize a holiday that falls during the week as an off-peak day. It used to be different though. I believe there are some smaller cell companies that still do but I don't know who they are.

It might have something to do with the fact that it isn't a night or a weekend.

Maybe you should have our new messiah, the great Obama to include holidays as part of weekend minutes. Even better the great one should take those minutes and give them to the middle class'.

I called Verizon today to fix my address on my shipping and the recorded message was a little reminder that holidays during the week aren't free.

I just switched from US Cellular to Verizon and US Cellular gives you free airtime on Holidays. I sure miss that aspect of U.S. Cell.

Why do you need these days to be free anyway? Are you really going to go over for the month on your minutes for one day during the month?
