Just wondering who has/is using the new 1600mAH battery?

About how long would it last before and after? (Heavy or light use)

Reason I am asking is because I was waiting for the 2600 battery and now that I see the new back cover that comes with it I have decided to pass on it but I am still be interested in the 1600 if its worth it.

I have it and it is currently in use. According to Seidio's instruction prior to installing battery, "Performance will increase after 5-6 full charges." I can go 2 and a half almost 3 days when fully charged (with text, a few phone calls and browsing here and there)...

Another member received the battery a couple days ago. They said that the battery was worth purchasing and would update us on it after using it for a while.

Just got it this week. I'm loving it. Standard battery would be at ~20% by end of 16 hour day; now it's more like 50-60%, and it seems the battery life is getting better as the week goes by!

Is this something that you have to go out and purchase yourself or would it have been included with my Storm seeing as i only got it the other day??

Reason i ask is because i have read a lot of moaning about the battery life not even lasting the day and i have been on mine constatly (Browsing) and it will last about a day and a half, probs over 2 days with light use. Any one know?

Personally, I'm with the other poster in thinking that buying the 1600 and swapping out when needed is a better option. Battery pull+no need for a new door. Just a better situation for me. A 1600 and a charger seems the sweet spot.

The 1600 is working well for me. It almost always lasts all day, with the exceptions being when I use the phone a lot in weak-signal areas such as my home or inside large buildings. I was happy to see on a recent flight that I was able to play movies for 3 hours using only about one-third of the battery. Keeping a spare handy for emergencies seems to be the way to go.
