OK the phone comes with an 8Gb card and everyone is talking about upgrading to a bigger one....Will thie upgrade (presumably 16 but some have mentioned 1 or 2) be able to be added to the 8 existing? How many slots for memory cards will thie Storm have?
One slot. There's no way to add the 8GB card to another. They are individual cards. You would need to just use one or the other. I'm getting a 16GB card (once the prices come down to the $50 range) and I will just transfer everything from the 8GB to the 16GB and save the 8GB for another device.
Yes, I am currently using an 8GB Class 4 that I swapped for the included 8GB Class 2. I have also verified that a 4GB Class 6 works fine. BTW, the higher class rating is very apparent when copying data to the card, but I can't tell any difference during use on the Storm. For what it is worth...
