to answer the OP's question,

*228 option 2 would be your best bet.

Some people recommend *228 option 1 as it 'activates it' as if it was a brand new phone. That's what I usually do when I load a new OS.

p.s.... to put what brerfrog said in simple terms... your best bet would be to search for this solution next time... because people have probably asked this question prior to your experiences.
