im 1600 miles away from home without my sync cable or laptop, and ive done something. i reinstalled patternlock on my phone, and obviously disabled compatibility mode...now when i start my phone i cannot get into it...half of the pattern lock screen pops up, and the other half of the screen in the keypad, which i cannot get to go away either..

im in dire need of help...i need my phone! lol

is there any way to get the device to start up without running any 3rd party apps?

If you hold down one of the buttons, I THINK its the back button, on boot, it will boot into safe mode so you can change it to compatibility mode or uninstall. Hope it helps.

it did...i thought of this about 3 minutes after posting the original..im waiting for the phone to finish rebooting as we speak...we'll know soon
