I had to restore my Storm and it uninstalled all applications on my device (things like DOD root certificates, s/mime support). I have no idea what these apps do and if I need them. What apps do I need to have (or should have) on my device? Which ones are default? Thanks!
You need to grab a copy of the BB OS (4.7.0.75 for VZW) from Blackberry. It's on their site, or take one of the million links posted on this site. It's a windows installer package. Install it to your PC.
Then, when you open DM you and go to the app loader you will have all the apps available from the base OS.
Blackberry Device Software and Blackbery Core Applications are the main ones.
but you can customize.
Search these forums for threads on wiping the device using JL_cmder. The good threads go into great detail as to what all you can leave off the device.
