Waiting clock after pressing unlock button?

I couldn't find an answer to this anywhere, but I just replaced my Storm over the weekend, and now every time I press the unlock button it takes like 3-6 seconds to unlock as one of those loading clocks come up.

Is this normal? It never happened on my old Storm, and I was wondering if there is a way to fix this?

after you unlock it and the clock comes up hit the BB button and click on close then try locking it and unlocking it
