WHERE is the verizon update? Its nice to know that the Germans actually care about their customers!
LOL...don't be mistaken, my friend. I've spent about 15 years in Germany...just got back. No disrespect to any German on this board, but Germans have NO idea what customer service is. Cell phones is pretty much a monopoly over there.
Hi all I thought I would let you know how this new firmware was doing, I installed it tonight from the link in this thread, it is a german file name but when you install it it gives english option. After it is installed the phone is def way smoother and alot of the lag has gone, photo's move smoother when flicking them across dont get me wrong it aint perfect but it does feel acceptable now where as before you kinda felt a bit ripped off because of the problems. So I am a happy chappy and you kinda get the feeling lots of updates are to come its a shame they didnt put this firmware on the phone at release
Hey for the update to work you need to disconnect the computer from the internet while trying the update. The desktop manager does some sort of internet check just for fun. I had to do this to install .76 because i had the same problem.

I was able to get it to work on the 9530. All I did was go to the location of the loader files (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files) and copy the "Java" folder from the 4.7.0.78 folder over to the 4.7.0.75 folder, replacing it in the process. After that, I ran the loader.exe app located in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. It recognized that there was an update available and "BOOM"...loaded it right onto my device. Gotta love it...
