I got a text from 5502 that is listed as an advertisement but the message says

"VZW Content - Stay tuned for a hot new offer coming to your Storm! Reply STOP to opt out"

Anyone else get this or know anything about it?

They have been sending out ads like that for years... nothing new.

I have never received one before. I was hoping for something new and exciting. I guess it's the same ol' stuff.

i got 2 of those i hope they don't charge them to me that the first i ever recieved something like that from verizon and i been a customer for almost a year. i do not like it!

I believe, usually, there is a line or two that says its a free text from Verizon. And like I said, it's been happening for years. I've been with Verizon since 2002
