What I want to know is why the frack is Verizon not releasing 4.5 for the 8830? If you look at the last pic, it states 4.2.2 for the 8830 while the others (8130/8330) get 4.5. Mother frackers! Who are they fooling?

You can upgrade earlier - just work the system. When the storm comes out, call VZW CS and tell them you are thinking about switching to the 3g iPhone - they're going to WANT to keep customers and get them to buy this phone. It's worth a shot.
