This is what I have on my phone now, still so confuse, read this site over tons of time.

ID ######### (did not count how many total)

    Personalization:
    SIM - Disabled
    Network -Active
    Network Subset - Disabled
    Service Provider - Disabled
    Corporate - Disabled

BlackBerry Option Button brings menu up:
    Top to Bottom List:

    Help
    ------
Edit SIM Phone Number (Do not know what this does?)
    ------
    Call Voice Mail
    ------
    Change PIN2 Code
    Enable Security
    ------
    Show Keyboard
    Switch Application
    Close

Does this all tell anything? Is my phone Unlocked??

Btw, How do I switch out the SIM card? Seems like there are no lever in the back to take it out safely.

Thanks In Advance for your advices.

Take out the battery and SLIDE the SIM out of its slot. It's not rocket science.

You can use an eraser. I used a small piece of scotch tape to get it out. It's really not that difficult.

And regarding unlocking, did you call VZW to unlock it? Did they have you enter the unlock code, and did the phone take the unlock code successfully?

When it says under personalization that the network is ACTIVE, it means it is locked. If it says DISABLED, then it is unlocked.

Network = Active does not mean it is locked or unlocked...

As buxleyp stated, "did you call VZW to unlock it? Did they have you enter the unlock code, and did the phone take the unlock code successfully?"
