I'm located in Lexington Kentucky, and I'll be damned if the second that I saw we had an updated facebook app, that I lost all 1XEV connection on my phone. I'm at 1X right now, and I've never had it gone before...or at least, not for this long. Happened about 20 mins ago. Anyone else notice a lack of 3G connectivity at the moment?

Try pulling battery for 30 sec and put it back in. See if that helps. There may also be Tower repair in your area.....

I don't see an update for Facebook and I still have full 1XEV signal. Full signal forthat matter.

you could try *228 option 2 and see if that helps sometimes that works for me.

unfortunately, I have done the battery pull... No dice on that one. I noticed it dropped out after having tried to "Check for update" through facebooks application... It seemed to hang on "checking for updates", but I dont know if that's because the 3G dropped out, or the application hanging up caused the drop in 3G on my phone. The chicken or the egg, as it were.

I guess I will have to give the *228 option 2 a shot. Any other suggestions to help me out?

Have you tried calling Verizon yet to have them reset your device? I have had to do that in the past with my BB Pearl...

When I logged onto my Facebook this morning to check for updates it told me there were no updates. So I deleted Facebook and went to App World and installed the updated Facebook from there, it took a little longer than normal to download, not sure if its because there are a lot of people downloading or just my Storm..
