Got to dial pad, menu key, options, general. There is a option in there. That may have been what you checked. Sorry if no help

I have changed the option "Restrict my identity" to never but it still comes up as restricted. Tried rebooting also...

Set it to Restrict and save/exit. Then go back in and set it to Network Determined and save/exit. Dial out and see.

No one else had reported this with .113. Are you sure it's the OS and nothing else? Could it be a network issue? Could it be the person you're calling? Have you tried multiple people to see if they can get caller ID from you? How about a simple refresh of the CDMA programming with a *22899 Send?

Why not call your carrier and make sure your caller id isn't blocked...might have just been a coincidence when you upgraded.

Also have noticed that if you're calling from a marginal service area this sometimes happens, seems the caller ID gets lost in subspace between the phone and the tower.

Call Verizon, sounds as if you have caller ID blocking on your account. In that case it was not the OS upgrade.

Yeah I haven't called them yet but it definitely has something to do with the OS update cuz I have had Verizon service for about 8 years and never had them block my number. Besides it just started tdoing this yesterday after I updated my OS. I'm hesitant to call Verizon about it because I am running on the leaked OS. They will probably tell me they cant do anything because .113 is not supported by them.

I have been calling from the same areas where service is great around me (5 bars).

I have tried updating through *228 and that didn't help either.

Downgrade back to .75 and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then you may need to stay on .75.

When you installed .113, did you mess with the OS files in any way? Did you install one of the wacked out Hybrids by any chance or is this the legit .113 CDMA release?

I think that's what I am going to do tonight when I get home. Hopefully that fixes the problem. Thanks for the help.

No I didn't alter the files in any way and the I downloaded it directly from crackberry.com. I'm pretty sure it was the legit release - version 4.7.0.113(Platform 4.0.0.144).

I just downgraded back to .75 and the problem still persists. I have looked through every setting on my phone and nothing fixes it. Looks like a trip to the Verizon store is in my future....
