ok so i just talked to the blackberry help people and asked about the update! they said it will be available for OTA at 12:00 midnight eastern time!!! storm people this is what we have been talking about and waiting for!!!!!

I'm sure you're telling the truth, but I doubt they are. Midnight seems like an odd time to release an update to me.

First, I mean no offense, but you are new here according to your total number of posts (currently 6) so people tend not to take newbies word for things (or most people's word for that matter)
Second, it is doubtful that RIM would be telling people when an update will be released since they aren't the ones who release them. The carriers do (In our case Verizon).

I hope this is true. I'm about 99% sure it's not, though... I highly doubt they would put out the statement on CrackBerry's homepage and then release an update midnight the next day.

I saw an internal document that said "early december" and verizon tech support has been telling people December 5th and 8th, so at least right now that is the speculation.

I would love to see an update but I am not going to hold my breath. Only carrier that rolls out anything slower than VZW is T-Mobile......

I am going to know when the update gets here by seeing it on this site and that is when I know it will be released.
