Hi everyone... I've done some extensive searching but am still needing some help.

I recently received a Verizon BB Storm (first gen.). I unlocked it successfully and am able to send/receive texts and phone calls.

The last hurdle is activating the internet. I know that I need to download the service books from AT&T. However, this is the problem I'm running in to. First of all, I tried to do it over the phone and go into the store. The reps wouldn't/couldn't help because it wasn't an AT&T phone. Then I used the AT&T customer chat online and she knew exactly what she needed to do. However, the PIN and IMEI on the phone would not be accepted by her system and she was unable to send them to me. The phone is registered with the network (going through doing the Host menu steps) and I do have a valid BB data plan (previous phone was another BB). I also tried registering the PIN/IMEI on the AT&T BIS website but kept getting an error message stating I need to register on my phone itself... But I can't due to the fact that I'm trying to activate the internet service! I can't download the service books because all of the steps/instillation seem to be based on Windows computers (I have a Mac). I also did a clean wipe and removed all of the IT plan.

I think I've tried everything I can think of in trying to get this to work... Any and all help is greatly appreciated!! Please let me know if you need anymore information. Thanks!!

You will need to have access to a computer running Windows in order to do it. (Perhaps a friend, family member, co-worker?)

Just download it to your computer and install it manually.
